ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has instructed officials to finish the Islamabad Safe City Expansion Project by September 30th.
During a visit to the Safe City Headquarters, he presided over a meeting and emphasized the government’s goal to upgrade Islamabad Safe City into a state-of-the-art, smart, and internationally recognized facility, inspired by advanced nations.
Naqvi highlighted that the modernized safe city infrastructure, equipped with cutting-edge technology, will play a crucial role in safeguarding citizens, enhancing surveillance, and enabling rapid response in emergencies.
Additionally, the minister mandated a three-month timeline to complete the development of the Islamabad Safe City’s new Fusion Centre.
It was reported during the meeting that 85% of the expansion project has already been accomplished.
