49 Terrorists eliminated in joint security operations across KP, Balochistan: ISPR

RAWALPINDI:  The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced that security forces, in coordination with police, have neutralized 49 terrorists with alleged Indian backing during a series of intelligence-driven operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan over recent days.

The military’s media wing stated that these operations are part of an ongoing, determined effort to dismantle terrorist networks and eliminate threats posed by extremist groups, including Khwarij factions and Indian-backed terror outfits. The operations, characterized by high intensity and precision, have successfully inflicted significant losses on terrorist elements, killing 49 militants and disrupting their ability to threaten peace and stability.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 12 Khwarij militants affiliated with Indian-supported factions were killed during multiple targeted raids in regions such as Bannu, North Waziristan, Orakzai, and Khyber Districts. During these raids, authorities recovered and destroyed a large cache of explosives, IED detonation devices, weapons, ammunition, and motorcycles.

In Balochistan, 37 terrorists linked to Indian-backed factions were eliminated in ten intelligence-led operations in districts including Mastung, Mach, Khuzdar, and Panjgur. Security forces also seized and destroyed considerable quantities of weapons, explosive drums, and remote detonation devices.

Pakistan’s security agencies remain committed to defending national borders and eliminating any remaining terrorist threats. Ongoing clearance operations are being carried out to eradicate any other Indian-supported militants operating in the region. The counter-terrorism campaign, under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehmam,” as endorsed by the Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan, will continue relentlessly to root out foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
