Sindh Chief Minister sets deadline for 600-bed advanced hospital in Larkana to be ready by 2028

KARACHI:  During a high-level review meeting in Karachi, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah emphasized the importance of completing the ongoing 600-bed modern hospital project in Larkana by July 2028. The meeting focused on assessing the current progress and planning for timely completion.

Officials briefed the CM that the new facility will feature an emergency department, intensive care units, state-of-the-art operation theatres, and advanced diagnostic services. Additionally, the hospital is planned to incorporate cutting-edge information technology systems and comprehensive digital medical records to enhance patient care.

The Chief Minister directed authorities to prioritize maintaining high standards of quality throughout the construction process. He highlighted that the new hospital aims to provide accessible, modern healthcare services to millions of residents in the region, significantly improving medical infrastructure.

Shah reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring the project’s timely completion, stressing that it will serve as a vital health resource for the local population once operational.
