Needy Families in Mir Hassan Mari receive 700 solar power units

SANGHAR: The Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Mir Hassan Mari Union Council has launched a program to distribute 700 solar power systems, fans, and essential appliances to underprivileged families in the area. 

In the initial phase, over 100 families were presented with solar units and related equipment during a ceremony held in the village of Mir Hassan Mari. The event was presided over by Union Council Chairman Rais Aqeel Ahmed Mari, with key local leaders including Vice Chairman Mukhtiar Ali Jamali, District Council Member Rais Shakeel Ahmed Mari, and several councillors in attendance.

During the event, officials including Mr. Aqeel Mari and Mr. Shakeel Mari emphasized that this phased distribution aims to support deserving households in overcoming electricity shortages and improving their living standards. They also announced that additional families will receive solar systems in upcoming phases.

The recipients expressed their gratitude towards the PPP and local authorities, stating that the solar units will significantly ease their daily routines by providing reliable electricity access. The initiative is part of broader efforts to assist low-income communities and enhance their quality of life through sustainable energy solutions.
