BAHAWALPUR: A woman allegedly attacked her husband and two children with acid following a domestic dispute in Ahmadpur East, leaving all three with burn injuries.
Police said the incident took place in the Chacha Basti Chowk area, where the suspect, identified as Shazia, allegedly threw acid at her husband, Shabbir Ahmed, during an argument.
Shabbir Ahmed and his two children, Rizwan Ahmed and Azan Ahmed, sustained burn injuries in the attack.
Rescue officials shifted the injured to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Ahmadpur East, where they received initial medical treatment. They were later referred to Bahawal Victoria Hospital in Bahawalpur for further care.
Police registered a case against the woman at Ahmadpur East City Police Station and launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
