RAWALPINDI: Police have recovered the body of 28-year-old Nabeela Shaheen, who was abducted from her home in Dhok Jhang near Adiala Road on September 12. Her brother-in-law has been arrested in connection with the case.
Police said the suspect allegedly killed Shaheen and buried her in a pit to hide the evidence. The body was recovered following information provided by the arrested man and taken to hospital.
Two girls abducted alongside Shaheen were also recovered, according to police. Investigators say a property dispute may have been the motive. Raids are underway to arrest other suspects, while the abduction case was registered at Sadar Bairuni Police Station on a complaint filed by Shaheen’s brother.
