KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Monday, mirroring their upward trend in the global market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola climbed to Rs437,536, marking a rise of Rs1,200 for the day. The price of 10-gram gold also saw an uptick, reaching Rs375,116 after an increase of Rs1,029, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, the gold price per tola had fallen to Rs436,336, reflecting a decrease of Rs4,300 during the day. Internationally, gold prices saw a $12 increase, bringing the price to $4,150 per ounce.
Additionally, silver prices rose by Rs66, setting a new all-time high at Rs6,588 per tola.
