Rana Sanaullah claims Murad Saeed Is directing KP government from Afghanistan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah has claimed that Murad Saeed is in Afghanistan and is influencing the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government from there.

Speaking about the province’s political situation, Sanaullah alleged that Saeed played a role in Sohail Afridi’s appointment as chief minister. He also claimed that PTI founder Imran Khan had not known Afridi personally.

Sanaullah said the government had made what he described as sincere offers during negotiations, but alleged that Afridi and Saeed were chiefly responsible for their failure. He added that they did not believe in resolving issues through talks with political opponents.

He further said Ali Amin Gandapur was not being assigned any responsibility in the province, and described the current KP political setup as a deliberate arrangement.

The claims were made by Sanaullah; no response from Murad Saeed or Sohail Afridi was included in the report.
