RAWALPINDI: Salman Ali Agha made an emphatic return to international cricket, scoring 107 from 90 deliveries against Sri Lanka in the tri-nation ODI series and earning a place on Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium’s honours board.
The Pakistan batter struck 10 fours and a six for his fourth ODI century. It was his first appearance since he was sent home after Pakistan’s defeat to England in the Lord’s Test in August. Salman had been left out of the second Test and did not travel with the squad for the third.
His century gave Pakistan a strong start to the tournament. The team is scheduled to meet England at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on October 20.
