KARACHI: A Karachi court on Monday sent Iqrarul Hassan to prison on judicial remand, rejecting the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency’s (NCCIA) request for further physical custody.
The NCCIA had produced Hassan before a Judicial Magistrate-East in connection with a case alleging that he posted content against the state on social media.
The court directed the agency to submit the case challan within 14 days. Hassan’s lawyer also filed a bail application.
