QUETTA: Balochistan’s industrial sector has witnessed a new development as the province’s first digital steel mill has commenced operations in Quetta’s industrial zone.
The facility has the capacity to produce 500 tonnes of steel bars per day through an automated production system, marking a step towards modernising the province’s industrial infrastructure.
Speaking to the media, the mill’s Chief Executive Officer, Aminullah, said the project would help meet the growing demand for steel amid expanding construction activities across Balochistan.
He expressed optimism that the facility would contribute to the province’s industrial growth by supporting the construction sector and strengthening local steel production.
