KARACHI: The 15th death anniversary of Begum Nusrat Bhutto, widely known as Madar-e-Jamhooriyat (Mother of Democracy), is being observed today.
Begum Nusrat Bhutto was the wife of former president and prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the mother of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto and the mother-in-law of President Asif Ali Zardari.
She passed away in Dubai on October 23, 2011, following a prolonged illness.
