Islamabad (July 17, 2018): The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has obtained information about immovable properties owned by the Pakistanis in the United Kingdom.
Pakistan would start receiving exchange of information about offshore accounts from OECD nations from September. Currently, there are 104 signatories of the Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters.
According to Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), information about immovable properties owned by the Pakistanis in the United Kingdom has been obtained with the assistance of Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the UK tax authorities.
The FBR’s spokesman maintained that Pakistan had subsequently fulfilled all legal and regulatory requirements.
But the spokesman insisted that this requirement had also been met.
