LAHORE: Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday has turned death sentence of two mentally disabled prisoners into life imprisonment.
According to details, the SC Lahore registry has directed to forward summary of one inmate to President Arif Alvi and ordered the federal and provincial governments to amend the laws as per the decision.
The apex court has also directed to change jail rules regarding mentally retarded prisoners.
