LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has vowed to maintain the writ of the state and stressed that the law will take its course if it is violated.
The chief minister said in his statement that an impartial inquiry of the unpleasant incident will be conducted. He said there is no room for violence in Islam which is a religion of peace. No society allows violent behavior and extremist approach creates unrest, he added.
Usman Buzdar said the protection of the lives and properties of citizens is the foremost responsibility of the state and it will fulfill its duty at any cost. Everybody is equal in front of the law and no one will be allowed to challenge the writ of the state, the CM asserted.
