Islamabad: Islamabad Police on Friday arrested the ruling party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insf (PTI) members of National Assembly (NA) Atta Ullah Khattak and Fahim Khan.
The police have arrested the PTI lawmakers on their involvement in an attack on the Sindh House, Islamabad.
PTI youth wing’s seven activists were also arrested by the police on the allegation of attacking the Sindh House.
Earlier, PTI activists staged protest outside the Sindh house in Islamabad against the party dissidents.
The ruling PTI activists and workers also broke central gate of the Sindh House.
The Sindh house which is situated in the red zone, the PTI activists and workers protested while holding lotas
The protestors chanted slogans against the dissident members of the PTI and the opposition parties.
When police tried to send the protestors, they refused to go out of the Sindh house.
As the escalation between police and protestors increase, a heavy contingent of Islamabad police reached the Sindh House.
