Islamabad: The anti government opposition alliance, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) spokesman Hafiz Hamd Ullah has said that not calling of National Assembly (NA) session as per the constitution is deviation from the constitution.
In his statement regarding the NA session Hafiz Hamd Ullah said that if speaker go against the constitution it will be tantamount to treason under the article 6 of the constitution adding that the punishment for violation of article 6 is clear in the article 6.
He said that it is obligation of the NA speaker to call the session within 14 days after submission of the requisition to call the NA session.
The JUI-F spokesperson said that the speaker should prove that he is custodian of the house instead of tiger of the Bani gala by following the constitution.
He said that if speaker becomes hurdle in the way of the constitution then responsibility of a clash and collision will be lied on the Speaker and Imran Khan.
