Karachi: Finance Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari today (Tuesday) applauded the services of Dow University and its doctors for achieving the milestone of completing 75 liver donor transplant surgeries.
Addressing a ceremony at the Ojha Campus of Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi on Tuesday, the Foreign Minister said it is our priority to provide best possible healthcare facilities to not only the people of Sindh but to the people of whole country.
He said that the availability of latest treatment of liver and kidney diseases is a welcoming sign.
Bilawal Bhutto also appreciated the construction of new oncology unit and said that early diagnosis of cancer is of utmost important for the patient’s health and treatment.
He also announced on the occasion that Sindh Government will provide free of cost liver transplant facilities to the people.
The PPP chairman said that development and prosperity of the country depends on a strong democracy and we must put our weight to take the country forward on this path.
He said that the main objective of the politics, government and the bureaucracy is to serve the people.
