Karachi: The much awaited tropical storm BIPERJOY has landed at coastal belt of Indian Gujrat and Pakistan-India border while the process of landing of cyclone will continue whole of night.
The cyclone has fallen at coastal belt of India and Pakistan at a distance 150 km away from Katty Bandar.
At a time of landing of storm its waves were of height 20 to 25 fit while around the cyclone winds with a speed of 120 km per hour are blowing.
The speed of storm at the center recorded 140 km per hour. While the height of waves at Katty Bandar can reach up to 10 to 12 fit.
Owing to the BIPARJOY heavy rains will lash in Thatha, Badin, Sujawal and areas in interior Sindh while medium intensity rains will fall in Karachi and its surrounding areas.
Rains are also expected in Hub, Lasbela and Khuzdar.
