Islamabad: The government would convene a joint session of the parliament on July 6 to formulate a national strategy on the issue and represent the nation’s sentiments and feelings through the parliamentary forum.
The joint session would also adopt a resolution to condemn the desecration of the Holy Quran.
Earlier the joint sitting of parliament is scheduled on July 10.
Now after the issue of desecration of Quran, the government has changed the date of the joint session.
The joint sitting of parliament will be held on Thursday at 3 pm.
