Lahore: The World Bank has approved a tune of 100 million dollars for the purpose of family planning in Punjab.
As per the World Bank, the aim of the loan is to create awareness and occurrence of the family planning among 60 percent families in Punjab.
The international bank said that the family planning is vital for the development of Pakistan. The high population creates hurdle in the rate of development, the bank added.
It further said that an increase in population increases poverty as well.
