Pallekele: The rain made match between arch rivals India and Pakistan tasteless as it ended without any result and one point each has been given to both the team.
There is one achievement of Pakistan after getting one point as it qualified for super four’s.
The rain hampered the match thrice during the match while last downpours ended the show without any result.
The rain showers interrupted the match twice during the Indian innings but didn’t affect the match.

Earlier India had set score of 267 runs after whole team bowled out in a battle against Pakistan while Shaheen Shah Afridi had shown heroic performance as he took four vital wickets of India which include Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
Two players of India had come to rescue when its four of key players sent to pavilion on score of 64 runs, they were Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya while albeit scored 82 runs and later 87 runs.
Their hard earned a 148- run partnership made India able to score reasonable target for Pakistan.
From Pakistan Shaheen Shah Afridi bowling was magnificent as he took four wickets while Harris Rauf and Naseem Shah took three wickets each.
Earlier, India has won the toss and elected to bat first while its decision was as not good as four its key players were bowled out by Shaheen and Harris Rauf.
