Rawalpindi: Multiple ceremonies, in connection with the Defence and Martyrs’ Day, were held to offer fateha and lay floral wreaths at the memorials of martyrs at General Headquarters and Army Formations across the country today.
On the occasion, a large number of people belonging from all walks of life participated in these ceremonies and presented tribute to the brave sons of the soil.
The central ceremony was held at the GHQ, where Inspector General Training and Evaluation offered fateha and laid floral wreath.

Besides, the Defence and Martyrs’ Day was observed in due veneration at all the formations of Pakistan Army in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Gujranwala, Multan, Pannu Aqil, Wana, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
