Islamabad: The hearing of practice and procedure act case at the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) postponed till tomorrow 11:30 am.
The SC full court headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa resumed the hearing of the petitions against the parliament (Practice & Procedure) Bill, 2023.
The full bench comprises Justice Sardar Tariq Masood, Justice Ijazul Ahsan, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, Justice Munib Akhtar, Justice Yahya Afridi, Justice Aminuddin Khan, Justice Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi, Justice Jamal Mandokhail, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Justice Ayesha Malik, Justice Athar Minallah, Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi, Justice Shahid Waheed and Justice Musarrat Hilali.
During the course of the hearing Chief Justice (CJ) Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) Qazi Faez Isa remarked that the Parliament has legislated the law with a good intention.

Honorable CJ questioned that if the parliament wanted to something good then why do want to run over it?
The CJ wondered that no one presented before the top court from the biggest party of the country Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and neither any one want to extend arguments.
Justice Jamal said that legislators wanted to give complete authority to the SC so they write it clearly.
The court proceedings were aired on live on PTI again.
Attorney General and other counsels will present their arguments in the case on Tuesday (tomorrow) as the hearing will start at 11: 30 am.
