Israel stopped the entry of fuel into the Gaza Strip on , amid warnings from the UN and international human rights groups.In a statement, the Israeli army spokesman, claimed: “The humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is under control.”
Now, the enclave is without power, pushed into a complete energy blackout after Gaza’s sole power plant will run out of fuel on Wednesday, affecting essential services including hospitals.
However, the Palestinian Health Minister Mai al-Kaila announced that “the fuel stock to operate the generators in the Gaza Strip hospitals will end tomorrow, , which will exacerbate the disastrous conditions in the hospitals.”
