Islamabad: Caretaker government has decided to increase gas prices once again from start of next year January 2024.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has been apprised of review of tariff in the energy sector.
Interim Finance Minister Shamshad Akhtar said that no decision was taken to imposes taxes on different sectors.
Shamshad Akhtar said that the economy of the country has improved.
She apprised that It is expected that the World Bank to provide two billion dollars, while one billion dollars from Asian Development Bank (ADB), Islamic Development Bank (IDB) and Asians Infra-Structure Bank.
