SYDNEY: Pakistan set a new national records, scored three hundred and thirteen runs in seventy one overs on the first day of the Sydney Test against Australia.
In the Sydney Test, Pakistan scored three hundred and thirteen runs at an average of 4.05 and set a new national record for the fastest run on Australian soil. In the Brisbane Test of 2009 the Green Caps scored runs at an average 3.97. Wicket keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan scored the first test fifty of 2024 and got out after score eighty runs. Aamir Jamal scored 82 runs and Sulaiman Ali Agha scored 53 runs. Aamir Jamal and Mir Hamza added eighty six runs in the last wicket partnership. In the first Test of the year, both Pakistan’s openers Abdullah Shafiq and Saeem ayub were dismissed after played just two balls each.
