Karachi: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif withdrew in favour of its party candidate Khawaja Shoaib.
Muttahida Quami Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) candidate deputy convener Syed Mustafa Kamal on NA-242 Karachi will now face Khawaja Shoaib.
With this change, MQM-P and PML-N alliance for seat adjustment also ended.
The PML-N leader Rana Mashood withdrew nomination papers of its president Shahbaz Sharif in fovour of its candidate Khawaja Shoaib.
At the occasion, Rana Mashood said that he has come to Karachi on the directions of Shahbaz Sharif to withdraw his nomination papers from NA-242 Karachi.
