Narowal: A political activist of a party died after he was hit by sticks by the opponent party workers in Narowal during a by-elections on Punjab Assembly seat PP-54.
The clash broke out in Zafarwal village Kot Naju in Narowal between two political parties on the polling day in PP-54.
According to the police, the scuffle started between two political parties during which activists of a party hit sticks on the activists of the other political party.
The 60-year-old activist Muhammad Yousuf was being shifted to a hospital, however, he succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital.
The police have started an investigation after taking the body in its custody.
