Multan: The Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) candidate on NA-148 Multan Barrister Taimur Altaf Malik has demanded a transparent counting of votes.
The SIC canddiate after concluding of election time reached the central office of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
The police have stopped the SIC candidate for going in to the main ECP office.
Counting of vote is underway in a by-election at NA-148 Multan while PPP Ali Qasim Gillani and Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) Barrister Taimour Altaf Malik were main contenders.
The seat was lied vacant after winner of the seat Yousuf Raza Gillani elected Chairman senate.
