JI announces Sit-in in Islamabad on July 12, against inflation, taxes

Lahore: Jamat-e- Islami (JI) has announced a sit-in in Islamabad on July 12.

Holding a presser in the JI headquarter in Mansora today, the JI Chief Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that a powerful and historic protests will be held against heavy electricity bills, high number of taxes and inflation.

Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that an elite class has been imposed on us despite being an democratic country.

He said that the elite class will have to give up its perks and privileges.

The JI ameer said that the political parties have not any interests in the masses. He said that we can’t let our people lonely adding we can’t let facing hurdles and worries from door to door.

He said that the professional people are leaving the country adding that people difficulties are being raised by imposing taxes again and again.

He said that additional charge has been imposed on export .
