Lahore: Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) Malik Shahzad has said that the major reason in delaying in cases are absence of witnesses.
Addressing a ceremony today, The CJ LHC said that in most of the cases witnesses are abroad.
The CJ said that the some judges go to having tea and work is handed over to readers. Justice Malik Shahzad apprised that cameras are installed in the court rooms.
He said that action will be taken against absent judges.
On the other hand the CJ said that establishment intervention in the judiciary will end soon.
Justice Malik Shahzad said that we will not come under any black maling while he said that the judiciary is doing struggle.
He said that taking names of those interfering in the judiciary is not a crime. He said that the intervention started in the judiciary with the Maulvi Tameez Uddin case.
