LAHORE: An accountability court on Wednesday granted 14-day physical remand of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Punjab Assembly Opposition leader Hamza Shehbaz.
According to details, the NAB produced Hamza before the accountability court judge and demanded to approve the 15-day remand of PML-N leader.
The court announced the reserved verdict and approved the remand of Hamza Shehbaz till June 26.
Hamza Shehbaz was arrested by the NAB after Lahore High Court (LHC) rejected the extension in the pre-arrest bail.
The two-member bench, comprising Justice Mazhar Ali Akbar Naqvi and Justice Shahid Waheed Khan, heard the petition as the PML-N leader appeared before the court amid strict security arrangements.
