WEB DESK: Operation continues in Kurram, gunship helicopters shelling the hideouts of the forces.
The operation to restore peace in the troubled tribal district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa continued for the second day as security forces used helicopters to target the hideouts of miscreants in various areas of central Kurram.
Due to the operation, curfew has been imposed in and around Bagan since January 19, due to which many families have been forced to move to Til area of Hangu district via Chapri Phatak, said sources
According to the sources, two gunship helicopters shelled suspected militant hideouts in Pistwani, Mandira, Sangroba and Jarni in central Kurram, but no casualties were reported by the militants.
