The price of gold is also experiencing a continuous decrease after the dollar. In the country, the price of gold per tola has decreased by an additional 1,000 rupees. Last month, there was a significant decrease of approximately 28,000 rupees in the price of gold.
According to the foreign exchange market, the price of gold per tola in the country has now reached 211,000 rupees. Dealers say that the recent 28,000 rupee drop in the price of gold is also partly due to a decrease in the value of the dollar.
It should be noted that on August 31st, the price of gold had reached its highest level at 239,800 rupees per tola.
It is clear that there is an ongoing decrease in the value of the dollar in the interbank market. The dollar, which was 1 rupee cheaper at the beginning of trading in the interbank market, is now trading at 289 rupees and 86 paise. During the 14-day period, the dollar has become more than 16 rupees cheaper in the interbank market.
