ISLAMABAD: The senior leader of PML-N Ahsan Iqbal on Thursday strongly condemned the arrest of party vice president Maryam Nawaz.
“First Miftah Ismail arrested to make opposition flare and now arresting Maryam Nawaz government has taken a fascist step,” Ahsan Iqbal said in his statement in reaction over her arrest.
He alleged that PML-N leaders were arrested but only for the sake of the Kashmir his party took part in solidarity with Kashmir to promote the message of unity but the government has taken the even the ink of agreement yet not dry.
“The opposition is replying for each penny but Imran Khan will have to answer his illegal wealth,” Ahsan said.
