TEHRAN: Iran has criticized European signatories of its 2015 nuclear deal for failing to salvage the pact after President Donald Trump pulled his country out of it last year and reimposed sanctions.
Foreign ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi said we have not seen practical and tangible steps from Europeans to guarantee Iran’s interests. lHe categorically said that Tehran will not discuss any issue beyond the nuclear deal.
Meanwhile, speaking at a joint news conference with his German counterpart Heiko Maas in Tehran, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said we had frank and serious talks. Zarif said Tehran will cooperate with EU signatories of the deal to save it.
