PESHAWAR: Aimal Wali Khan, the leader of the Awami National Party (ANP) and Senator, has announced that Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated tomorrow.
In his statement, Aimal Wali Khan said that, just like Ramadan, Eid will be celebrated with the Muslim world, and the Shawwal moon has been sighted.
He expressed his heartfelt Eid greetings to all Muslims around the world, especially to the oppressed Muslims of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan.
He further mentioned that due to the current situation, a gathering at Wali Bagh will not be possible this Eid, and urged people to take special care of the poor, needy, and destitute individuals.
It is noteworthy that the Shawwal moon has been sighted in several Gulf countries, including Saudi Arabia, and Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated tomorrow. Today marks the 28th fast in the country, and the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet tomorrow to observe the Shawwal moon.
