KARACHI: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has vowed to clear Karachi from terrorists and criminals, adding that Rangers role and services in Karachi are highly commendable.
According to ISPR, Army Chief visited Core Headquarters Karachi, where he chaired an important meeting, during which DG Rangers briefed him about the operation and situation of Karachi city.
Army chief directed to arrest those involved in recent terrorism incidents, directing to leave no page unturned to arrest terrorist and criminal.
DG Military Operations (DGMO), DG Military Intelligence (DGMI), Adviser to National Security Nasir Janjua also accompanied Army Chief.
Army Chief visited Karachi after two major terrorism incidents in Karachi. A week earlier on Monday, Sindh High Court Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah’s son Ovais Ali Shah was kidnapped by unidentified people from Clifton, while renowned Qawal Amjad Sabri was brutally killed in Liaquatabad after two days.
