Pakistani team a step behind to grab third consecutive title of team squash as it defeated arch rival India in semi-final of Asian Squash championship on Saturday in Taiwan.
In the semi-final against arch rival India, Pakistan pair Farhan Zaman and Tayyab Aslam showed off their brilliant skills and playing swift and aggressive shots grabbed the game by 2-1 and through to the final of 18th Asian Squash championship.
Earlier, defending championship Pakistan in its Group-B matches defeated Sri Lanka and Singapore and secured the place in last four, while in quarterfinals Pakistan beaten Iraq in a one sided match to reach semi-final.
The final of 18th Asian championship will be played between Pakistan and Hong Kong on Sunday.
