The right-handed batter completed 4,000 runs in Test cricket during the first Test against South Africa.
Babar Azam needed just 3 runs to reach this milestone, which he achieved on the first day of the Test against South Africa. However, he was dismissed after scoring 4 runs.
The first Test against South Africa marks the 56th Test match of Babar Azam’s career.
Babar Azam is the third batter in the world and the only Pakistani batter to complete 4,000 runs in ODIs, T20Is, and Tests.
