Islamabad: Anti-Terrorism Court granted bail to 250 PTI workers in 13 cases registered on November 26 protest, while rejecting the bail applications of 150 accused.
The anti-terrorism court of Islamabad heard the cases filed on November 26 protest, the court approved the bail of 250 accused in exchange of Rs 5000 each.
In the case of Bani Gala Police Station, 18 accused were granted bail after arrest, in Kohsar Police Station Case No. 1032, 43 accused were granted bail while the application of one accused was rejected.
Court approved the bails of 9 accused in the Shehzad Town case, 17 accused in the case filed in the Noon police station and dismissed the bail application of one accused. Bail applications of 25 accused were rejected.
The Anti-Terrorism Court approved the applications of 30 accused in the case of I-Nine police station and 13 accused in the case filed in Margalla police station, and ordered the release of the bail applications of 2 accused.
In two cases of police station secretariat, bails of 120 accused were rejected while 10 accused got bail, 25 accused of Sahala police station and 30 accused of Shams Colony police station were granted bail, 13 cases are registered against the accused in 10 police stations.
