Additional facts of mega corruption scandal in Balochistan has started surfacing with arrested Balochistan Finance Secretary Mushtaq Ahmed Raisani confessing to NAB that the massive cash and jewellery recovered from his home is corruption money.
Action is underway for more arrests under the light of Raisani’s interrogation and officials have called a meeting to discuss the situation and to chalk out a strategy against appointments and transfers.
According to sources Raisani disclosed during interrogation that the money recovered from his home was to be sent outside the country through hundi.
NAB has initiated actions for the arrest of raisani’s accomplices but no arrest has yet been made. Sources informed that 14 accomplices of Raisani have been identified and all of them are government officials.
Raisani’s arrest has caused paic among the bureacracy in Balochhistan and a meeting of officers of Balochistan Secretariat and Balochistan Civil Services has been called at Quetta Officers Club.
According to sources advisor finance Khalid Lango, who resigned after Raisani’s arrest, is expected to be arrested soon and his name has been included in the ECL and this has been intimated to DG FIA and the immigration staff at all the airports of the country.
