Can’t give time for Pakistan-India talks: Indian High Commissioner

ISLAMABAD: Indian High Commissioner appointed in Pakistan, Gautam Bombawalay has said that Pakistan and India are trying to create appropriate environment for negotiations, but he can’t tell when and how the talks will held.

Talking to media during a conference held in Islamabad, Indian High Commissioner Gautam Bombawalay said that the situations will be normalize between both countries with the help of small gestures of goodwill. He added that there is a need for favorable environment for talks, for which both sides are making efforts.

Gautam Bombawalay said that both countries foreign secretaries met during Heart of Asia Conference. He said that he can’t give any time frame for the talks.

Pakistan, India and Sri Lankan Constitutional development were reviewed in the conference held over Constitutional Development in South Asia, held by PILDAT, during which West Bengal National University of Judicial Sciences professor Dr. Ishwara Bhat was asked questions over Kashmir dispute, while Indian High Commissioner Gautam Bombawalay refused to ask political questions on this eve.
