Islamabad: The Council of Common Interests (CCI) meeting is going to be held tonight as Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has rescheduled the May 2 meeting today on the request of the Sindh government.
Federal and as well as Sindh government suggestions for ending the controversial canal project would be presented in the huddle.
The secretariat of the CCI has issued a notification of the calling of the meeting today.
All the chief ministers of the provinces, federal ministers including 25 participants have specially invited in the meeting.
Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, Sindh irrigation minister Jam Khan Shoru have arrived Islamabad for attending the CCI meeting.
