KARACHI: Special events took place in Karachi and Lahore Garrisons to honor the brave martyrs and Ghazis of the Pakistan Army for their exceptional sacrifices, dedication, and patriotism.
In Karachi, a commemorative ceremony was held where the families of martyrs and Ghazis received awards including the Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military), Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military), and Tamgha-e-Basalat, acknowledging their remarkable contributions and sacrifices. The event was graced by the presence of the Corps Commander Karachi, who served as the chief guest.
During the proceedings, the Corps Commander interacted warmly with the families, paying heartfelt tribute to the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s brave soldiers. Senior military officials and relatives of the martyrs also participated in the event.
A similar tribute was organized at Lahore Garrison to honor the sacrifices of Pakistan Army’s martyrs and Ghazis. The General Officer Commanding (GOC) Lahore Garrison attended as the chief guest and addressed the gathering.
In his speech, the GOC reiterated the army’s unwavering commitment to supporting the families of martyrs and Ghazis. He emphasized that their sacrifices embody the nation’s strength and pride, and assured that their contributions would be remembered and honored forever.
