QUETTA: Security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Bismillah district, resulting in the elimination of 14 terrorists allegedly supported by India.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was launched in the Nala area of Bismillah after intelligence indicated the presence of militants.
ISPR stated that the terrorists, linked to the Indian-backed faction Fatan-e-Hindustan, had plans to carry out attacks on police stations and banks.
The ISPR further reported that the operation was conducted swiftly and decisively to thwart these malicious intentions. During the operation, the movement of the terrorists was effectively blocked, and four vehicles along with IEDs used by the terrorists were destroyed.
During the operation, brave soldier Lance Naik Muhammad Abbas embraced martyrdom.
The ISPR added that a clearance operation is ongoing to neutralize any remaining terrorists in the area. The counter-terrorism campaign will continue with full force until terrorism is completely eradicated from the region.
