KARACHI: Adviser to Chief Minister Sindh on Information Moula Baksh Chandio on Wednesday expressed reservations over Sindh High Court (SHC) decision declaring appointment of Barrister Murtaza Wahab as Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Law.
Addressing a press conference along with Sindh Senior Minister Nisar Khuhro and Senator Saeed Ghani, Chandio said that why every decision was Sindh-specific and other provinces were ignored.
He said that there was no ban on land allotment and promotion in any other province, but the Sindh Chief Minister had been restrained from land allotment and giving promotions.
He said that the constitution allowed the Chief Minister to appoint his adviser.
He said that why the Advisor on Law could not ask any question in the Apex Committee. He said that only Murtaza Wahab’s appointment was challenged in the court but the decision covered all advisers appointed by the CM.
