ISLAMABAD: The prices of chicken increased from Rs680 to Rs790 in various cities.
The local administration officials and the price control magistrate failed to enforce government prices.
The official government rate of chicken per kg is Rs680 but the local shopkeeper sale the chicken overpricing to Rs780.
Like other cities in the country, in Islamabad and Faisalabad too, the price of chicken had soared beyond the masses’ expectations.
Within a month, after an increase of Rs25, it had reached up to Rs790 per kg.
