ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Asif Saeed Khosa has called a meeting of supreme judicial council on July 1 to consider 13 names for an appointment of additional judges in Lahore High Court.
Sources said that suggested names included ten lawyers and three district and session judges while three district judges’ names are Humayun Imtiaz, Shakil Ahmed and Safdar Saleem Shahid.
Besides that advocate Asif Saeed Rana, advocate Khalid Waheed Khan, advocate Nasir Mahmood and advocate Waqar Hyder will be considered for the post of the additional judges.
Four more lawyers would be considered for the post including Advocate Muhammad Ilyas Sheikh and advocate Muhammad Zubair Khalid.
